Work with us
Collaborators and prospective students are welcome to get in touch. A few details make the first conversation easier.
01 Collaborate
Collaborating with us
An enquiry can start with a biological question or a proposed study. We can then work out together which of our methods, such as PET, autoradiography or tissue analyses, could help answer it.
If you already have material or a target in mind, these details help us assess it. They are optional guidance, not a requirement:
- Species and model, which tissue is available, and how much
- Preparation and storage: fresh-frozen or fixed, how it was sectioned, and how long and at what temperature it has been kept
- The target: receptor, transporter, enzyme or other protein
- Whether an assay exists, such as a radioligand with published binding conditions
Anne M. Landau was affiliated with the Department of Nuclear Medicine and PET Center, Aarhus University Hospital for almost 20 years, as a postdoc and later as assistant and associate professor. The lab continues a close collaboration there: we carry out radioligand binding studies, use its human PET scanners for our minipig studies, and the BeaQuant real-time autoradiography system is at its PET Preclinical Facility.

02 Join the lab
Joining the lab
We welcome general enquiries from prospective PhD students, postdocs, and master's, bachelor's and visiting project students. Positions, when we have them, are announced on our Latest page.
Who fits
Our team has come from medicine, neuroscience, pharmacology and cognitive science; related fields can fit too. Curiosity about how imaging signals relate to biology matters more than experience with any one method.
What you could learn
Depending on the project: quantitative autoradiography, including real-time autoradiography on the BeaQuant; PET study design and analysis; behavioural testing and tissue analyses; and work with rodent and minipig models.
Your first email
Who you are and your current programme; the kind of project and when; which theme interests you, and why; relevant experience; funding, if you know it; and a CV.
